Kansas Electric, Inc. has been a strong, leading company since 1948 providing progressive electrical contracting to consumers of south central Kansas. We pride ourselves in high quality work, completed on schedule, and diversified in many areas to accommodate our customers.  From our full service Construction Department to our highly trained Service Department we strive to provide a turn-key approach for all electrical needs throughout the life of the facility.

Our Commercial and Industrial Construction Department includes all aspects of the job spectrum including design build upon request. Along with general power and lighting we also focus on Communication, Networking, Fire Alarm, and Security systems. As a part of our commitment to customer satisfaction, when we complete a job we will perform a comprehensive test of all main components of the electrical distribution services. It is one of the ways we commission our work to verify that we are leaving our customers with a high quality product.  One of our strengths lies in our ability to accommodate large scale projects while encompassing efficiency and accuracy.

After the construction phase of the project is completed, our commitment to our customers continues through our 24 hour Service Department.  From additional electrical or special system needs to maintaining existing equipment our technicians are able to complete the work with minimal interruptions to the operation.  If urgent needs do arise our quick response time is made possible because we have several service technicians with fully stocked vans on call 365 days a year. 

Kansas Electric, Inc. has seen steady growth over recent years, both in scope and volume of work that we are able to perform.  With between $6-8 million in yearly revenue, Kansas Electric Inc. employs 60-80 highly dedicated employees. Approximately 25 licensed electricians and 40 apprentices assist in providing total quality assurance to our valued customers. Our personnel complete on the job training and participate in specialized and continuing education classes.  This is one of the ways we are able to stay in the forefront with technology and knowing the most effective ways to complete any given project.
